(the file is in Real Media format, so get RealPlayer) | | 22.11: More Rumours On New Album. | | Oasis start recording their sixth album early next year with Death In Vegas as producers -The band have been taking 2003 off, but the band have been writing new songs for the sixth album, due out next year. A spokesperson for the band told NME "Oasis recently met up with Death In Vegas' Tim Holmes and Richard Fearless to arrange working on new tracks together." Oasis produced Heathen Chemistry themselves. Noel said it was such an important record, that the band wanted to take responsibility for their own actions.
But because Noel is not the sole songwriter any more, someone from outside the band is allowed to give an alternative perspective on the songs. A source revealed: "They'll do some songs with the Death In Vegas lads and see how things progress." Oasis hope to reignite the spark generated when Liam sung on the 2002 Death In Vegas album 'Scorpio Rising'. At the time, fearless said Liam was "the greatest rock'n'roll singer in the world".

| 12.11: Oasis and Death In Vegas | | Oasis are rumored to go into the studio in early 2004 to record with Tim Holmes and Richard Fearless from Death In Vegas as producers. Oasis have known Death In Vegas for some time, and Liam Gallagher recently sang guest vocals on their album 'Scorpio Rising'.
Earlier in the year Noel Gallagher told NME that he had up to 13 new songs written for the record. He said: "I've got about five songs done, Liam's got about six, and Gem's got a couple".
Although the band have been 'officially' taking a year off, an impromptu set from Noel and Gem at The Bandits' Bandwagon club night in Liverpool (May 3) featured newie Stop The Clocks and gave fans a glimpse into what the new album might sound like.

Meg faces a day in court if she does not agree to him having lengthy periods with Anais.
He doesn't speak to Meg much these days but he has made it quite clear to her that he will take this to court. He wants her to back down and give him Anais for at least six months of the year.
Noel had an acrimonious split with Meg in 2000 and at the time he even vowed never to play Wonderwall again, the hit song he wrote for her. Meg later won a £4million divorce settlement.
Noel has been dating PR-girl Sara MacDonald since the break up of his marriage.

| 08.05: NOEL PLAYS STOP THE CLOCKS! | | Noel Gallager played a brand new song at a secret gig in Liverpool. He turned up unannounced to play a short set at the Zanzibar Club as part of his performance with bandmate Gem Archer, he performed the unreleased song 'Stop The Clocks' Along with Talk Tonight, Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Married With Children. Around 100 people were at the club.
Noel Gallagher performed the gig on Saturday after making a promise to Merseyside band The Stand, who were playing at the club that night. He joined the band to play guitar on one of their songs. The ardent Manchester City fan combined the gig with a trip to Anfield to watch his team beat Liverpool. The new song begins as a gentle very melodic ballad along the lines of "The Scientist" by Coldplay before bursting into a massive chorus reminiscent of Acquiesce. The lyrics to the chorus go something like this:

| 11.05: NOEL'S FAREWELL TO MAINE ROAD. | | Lifelong Manchester City fan Noel Gallagher says his favourite Maine Road memory was the 5-1 derby win. The Oasis guitarist recalled the 1989 thrashing of Manchester United on the eve of the Blues' last Maine Road game before the summer move to the new stadium. The 35-year-old rock star and his brother Liam are expected to attend the match against Southampton.
He lists midfielder Ali Bernarbia as the best City player and joked how he enjoyed watching "frightened" London football fans walking through Moss Side on dark rainy nights to attend mid-week games. The Blues are due to move into the City of Manchester Stadium in time for the start of next season. Noel said: "Maine Road is where I saw my first football match and it's a shame it's going to be knocked down, but you've got to move on, I suppose. "I've got loads of good memories but the 5-1 hammering of United was a joyous occasion. "The worst memory was getting relegated against Luton when we went down for the first time during the 1980s and we have never really been the same since. "It will be weird this Sunday not having anything to play for. Normally with six games to go we have to win four to stay up or get promoted.
I haven't been to the new stadium but I have been shown a model and my mates say it's mega. "I think it will take a full generation of City supporters before it will feel like home. "At first it is going to feel like City are playing away and we are going to lose some of the songs like `Super City from Maine Road', which is a shame. If the move earns the club more money to buy better players it's a good thing, but we'll see."

Oasis recently returned from a short European tour after they spent 2002 touring the world promoting Heathen Chemistry. Oasis have confirmed they will not be rescheduling cancelled shows from last autumn's U.S. tour. The band has to scrap the shows in Indianapolis, Philadelphia and Boston after Noel Gallagher was involved in a car accident last August.

Live Forever also focuses on how politics muscled in on the Britpop bandwagon. In 1997, Prime Minister Tony Blair invited a host of celebrities to Downing Street for a drinks reception, including Noel Gallagher.

Noel said that especially one of the new songs, Stop The Clocks, has gone down well. Other songs rumored to be on the new album include: Let There be Love - by Noel, could be one of the SOTSOG demos previously known as It's A Crime.
Solve My Mystery - A song made public in the SOTSOG demo sessions, but may actually be named Revolution Song which is a song Noel has mentioned several times since 1994.

11.08: OASIS IN TAXI CRASH!
| | Oasis' taxi driver was to blame for the car accident that left the three band members Noel Gallagher, Andy Bell and Jay Darlington injured. Eyewitnesses at Tuesday's accident saw the taxi hit another car head-on at a busy Indianapolis junction, claimed that the driver ran a red light. Now a police report into the accident has confirmed this.
Noel suffered heavy facial bruising, whiplash and shock in the smash. Bassist Andy Bell and keyboard player Jay Darlington were also passengers in the taxi, and while their injuries were less severe than Gallagher's, all three were taken by ambulance to the nearby Wishard Memorial Hospital for treatment. Oasis are due to restart their sold-out US tour in New York's Roseland on August 11.

| | | After apologizing to the audience and saying that he lost his voice Liam walked off after singing just 5 songs at the August 2nd. However, instead of stopping the show Noel stepped up to the mic in front of the sell out crowd at the 3,000 capacity open air Pompano Beach Amphitheater and delivered an amazing two hour performance. | 10.07: MASSIVE LONDON SHOWS.
| | Oasis paid tribute to The Who's late bassist John Entwistle at the first of three London shows. The band played a sold out, open air show at Finsbury Park in front of 40,000 fans. The band's set was comprised mainly of songs from their current album Heathen Chemistry, as well classic singles. More surprisingly was to hear Hello and She's Electric. However, their set closed with a rousing cover of The Who's My Generation' dedicated to Entwistle. The bassist was found dead in a Las Vegas hotel room last week. Unfortunately, by the time Oasis took to the stage at 8.30pm, Finsbury Park resembled a mud bath in places, with persistent and heavy showers throughout the day. However fans were unfazed by the mud. One, who had travelled down from Liverpool for the gig told NME: "We've been down here for most of the day, and came prepared. I've not seen Oasis since they played Knebworth, so a bit of rain won't spoil it!"

| | Oasis have announced details of a massive hometown show. The group will play at the 50,000 capacity Lancashire County Cricket Club on September 14. | | On the 28 April Oasis played the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California. In front of a crowd of 20.000+ Oasis gave an intense and extremely well-played concert. During the show some of the new songs were played: The Hindu Times, The Force of Nature, Hung in a Bad Place and Better Man. They also played classics like She's Electric, Acquisce and Rock 'N' Roll Star.
"Following Prodigy's performance, the crowd started chanting O-a-sis sporadically. | | Oasis star Noel Gallagher joined Ryan Adams on stage last night (Friday 10th) at London's Brixton Academy. The enigmatic US troubadour, who was playing the first of two sold out London dates, called Noel on stage late in the set to perform a rousing version of the Oasis anthem 'Morning Glory' with Noel on guitar and vocals. Earlier in the evening, Adams performed an acoustic version of 'Wonderwall'.

| | As we speak Oasis are recording the video for their brand new single, The Hindu Times. Early indications suggest that Oasis have taken a leaf out of The Stroke's book, with the video simply based around them playing live. The video's director, Wiz, who previously worked with The Manic Street Preachers and Primal Scream commented: "this is the video that Oasis fans have been waiting for!"
The B-sides to The Hindu Times, which is due for release on April 15th are Just Getting Older and the yet to surface Idler's Dream. All written by Noel Gallagher. It's the first Oasis single for 18 months. For the first time ever, the band will release the single on DVD which will also feature the first part of a candid three part documentary about Oasis shot during the Brotherly Love tour.
The Hindu Times is the first of ten tracks on the band's forthcoming studio album, due for release in the summer. The album, as yet untitled was recored at Wheeler End studios in London and produced by Oasis themselves. Other tracks on the album include three songs written by Liam Gallagher, Hung In A Bad Place by Gem Archer and Andy Bell's Thank you For The Good Times which may just feature as a b-side.
The band's summer live shows taking place in London's Finsbury Park on July 5, 6 and 7 have now all sold out. Although it's been rumoured they will play this year's T In The Park festival, the band's name was absent from the lineup announced last week.

The new song "Better Man" was introduced with Noel saying: "It took Liam 30 years to write a good song, here it is". It is a fast, hard and dully song. | 17.02: OASIS TEAM UP WITH U2!
| | The news is that Oasis and U2 will be touring together this summer! The tour is not in anyway confirmed - No dates or likely has been decided. All I know is that there will be 20-30 gigs all around Europe and that it's due to happen this summer and they will not be playing the UK and Ireland.
A spokesman for U2 officially told british media today that nothing has yet been confirmed.
Ignition Management have said that Noel has been wanting to tour with U2 since last year when Noel and Bono wrote a song together (which we might hear on the next U2 album, it was written as a tribute to Bono's father).

| 20.01: NO-GO FOR OASIS!
| | Oasis are not to join The Strokes, White Stripes, Pulp, The Charlatans and Placebo who have all been approached to play Glastonbury. Organisers plan to hold it on June 3 at 20,000 capacity Seaclose Park, Newport. Now Rollingstone.com claims the names of Ash, Manic Street Preachers and The Hives can be added to the list.
The festival was last held in 1970 when 600,000 people, mostly ticketless, flooded onto the island to hear the likes of The Who, Jimi Hendrix (in his final UK show), Miles Davis, The Doors (in their final UK concert with Jim Morrison) and Sly And The Family Stone. "I don't want any dance music," said Giddings. "I don't want any of that crap. We want real songs played by real people. Anyone with a cassette machine can go away."
